Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:


  • Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments, using proper tools
  • Align and balance new equipment after installation in startup contracts
  • Assemble, install and/or repair wiring, electrical & electronic components, pipe systems & plumbing, machinery, & equipment
  • Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery
  • Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, internet, technical support, and parts catalogs as necessary
  • Using hand tools & power tools, dismantle devices to gain access to, remove defective parts, install new parts, & reassemble
  • Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions
  • Maintain and repair specialized equipment
  • Paint and repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall and other parts of building structures. Lay brick, tile and stone to repair and maintain buildings, walls, arches and other structures
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly & building systems operate efficiently
  • Source and purchase parts, materials, and supplies
  • Estimate repair costs and time
  • Repair counters, benches, tables, chairs, and partitions
  • Record maintenance and repair work performed and the costs of the work
  • Operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts
  • Follow established work schedule for all jobs performed
  • Work responsibly keeping the safety of customers, team members, and yourself a priority
  • While working in a food service establishment, must be diligent about clean up after performing job
  • Hauling of equipment from LVRG building to LVRG building or to a business partner

 

General Qualifications:


  • Electrical, mechanical & drywall experience required
  • Your own hand tools preferred but not required
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Strong troubleshooting aptitude
  • Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to work with the various levels of management
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and focus on time efficiency and project completion
  • High degree of initiative, with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize
  • Strong emphasis on safety
  • Good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Able to work without direct supervision
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, team player
  • Clean driving record a must- company; vehicle supplied
  • Must be able to travel and have flexibility in schedule (some overnight stays required based on restaurant locations and workload specifics)
  • Must have a willingness to learn and continually seek new knowledge
